Two examples of my historical mural work with Tyne and Wear Museums. Careful consideration and research has to be employed when working on such projects as they have to be educational as well as aesthetically pleasing.  There is always some 'helpful soul' just bursting to tell you when you've got it wrong. I once had a frantic few hours when it was realized that the shield I had painted on a rendition of Hadrian's Wall was two hundred years out of date!  This just hours before the exhibition opened.
