' The Fluffy Bunny Man'
was a term first used, as a mild insult, to describe my work.
I started my career as a portraitist, painting
people, dogs, hamsters etc.
I found I had the gift of being
able to paint something that actually captured the character . For some
reason, this was frowned upon by one or two of the ' true'
artists
in my acquaintance who viewed animal portraiture as beneath
them.
I actually benefited from this by taking on the clients
that they wouldn't (or may be couldn't) hope to please.
The next three pictures illustrate 'a day in the life of the bunny
man'. A role I have often played in the past and, I'd like
to think,
played quite well.
